Fishing company Deepsea Consolidated Investment has committed N$1.2 million in aid to support 10,000 Namibian households affected by severe drought conditions.
Today, they donated 6 metric tonnes of salt-dried fish to the drought relief efforts.
Deputy Prime Minister John Muturwa received the donation, which includes 5,000 bags of salt-dried fish, each weighing 1.2 kg and valued at N$540,000.
This contribution will aid approximately 5,000 households struggling with the harsh effects of the drought.
Mutorwa expressed his gratitude for the support, emphasising its importance during these challenging times.
