A Member of the Swapo Party, Itah Kandjii-Murangi, has asked the youth to critically assess their interests, abilities, and capabilities to align their career choices to key job markets and emerging natural resources.

Dr. Murangi said this will help reduce unemployment and contribute to the country's development.

She spoke at a Swapo party mini-rally at Sachona in the Judea Lyaboloma Constituency over the weekend.

Most graduates, she said, end up unemployed because their qualifications do not respond to the demands of the labour market.

The Swapo Party member said that the current education system is responsive and adaptive to current and future challenges, therefore requiring young people to position themselves for significant roles in the country's future development.

She also advised party members to keep the ruling party in office in the upcoming elections.

The party also welcomed back members who had previously deflected.
