HyIron Namibia has been awarded the Namibian Hydrogen Project of the Year award during the official opening of the inaugural edition of the Global African Hydrogen Summit (GAH2S) underway in Windhoek.

HyIron managing director Johannes Michels received the award, which was presented by the Minister of Mines and Energy, Tom Alweendo.

The summit was officially opened by Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
