The Namibia Champion of Champions Singles Bowls tournament for men and women took place at the Swakopmund Bowling Club, featuring the top singles players from across the country.

Six men and six women who excelled at their respective clubs competed fiercely on the bowling green, vying for top honours at the tournament.

The tournament is one of the highlights of the Namibian lawn bowls calendar, as it brings together champions from various clubs across the country to compete head-to-head.

Held in the scenic coastal town of Swakopmund, the tournament saw fierce competition as players showcased their skill, strategy, and precision on the greens.

The event was divided into separate categories for men and women, with each competitor having previously earned their spot by winning their respective club championships.

After three days of intense competition, the tournament concluded with Gordon Damster from the Namib Park Bowling Club in Walvis Bay winning the men's title, while Amanda Steenkamp from the Eros Bowling Club in Windhoek was crowned the women's champion.

The winners of the men's and women's categories earned the right to represent Namibia in international competitions.

This tournament not only highlighted the skill of the participants but also emphasised the growing popularity and competitive nature of lawn bowls in Namibia.
