The Minister in the Presidency, Christine ||Hoëbes tabled a motion in the National Assembly to appoint Michael Mutonga and Ludmilla Doëses as Commissioners of the Public Service Commission.

The law mandates that the Public Service Commission consist of a chairperson and between three and six members, all nominated by the President and approved by the National Assembly.

President Nangolo Mbumba has selected Mutonga and Doëses as commissioners.

Doëses is nominated to commence on December 1st for the next five years and will replace Florence Munyungano, whose term is ending in November while Mutonga commences this month.

Mutonga, among others, served the government in various capacities, while Ludmilla has 18 years of management experience.

Members of parliament expressed their support for the motion.
