The Executive Chairperson of the Alliance of Christian Churches, Dolly Nengushe, stressed the importance of continuous dialogue between political leaders and the electorate.

During a two-day event organised by the alliance in Windhoek, four of the invited political parties engaged in discussions and presented their manifestos.

Political entities that responded to the invitation were the Namibian Economic Freedom Fighters, the All People's Party, Christian Democratic Voice, and independent candidate Rosa Namises.

Reverend Nengushe stated that with the November elections approaching, the platform was meant to inform, educate, and empower voters as political leaders interact with the public and respond to questions from attendees mainly on women's empowerment, sexual rights, and youth employment.

NEFF and APP highlighted their areas of focus.

Independent Candidate Rosa Namises pointed out health as one of her focuses given the need for proper health services, while CDV promised to support entrepreneurs with funds of over a million dollars.

The event will see various political parties engage the public for two days.
