The Landless People's Movement (LPM) has announced that its parliamentary list will feature 72% youth representation.

This decision, according to the party's leadership, was made at their first national convention to elevate young voices in Namibian politics.

LPM Youth Leader Duminga Ndala emphasized the importance of this move: "71% of our candidates will be under 35. Young people in Namibia have often been overlooked, and we are determined to change that. To address both class and generational struggles, we need young people in key decision-making positions. We understand the realities and aspirations of our peers. Without this, the youth agenda will never be fully realized."

LPM member Ivan Skrywer echoed this sentiment

"What a powerful speech by our leader! He has once again shown that LPM is the true alternative in Namibian politics. His message, backed by statistics, shows that this is the time for youth leadership. He also highlighted the importance of unity between the 29% and 71%—working together, our society will thrive."
