The Electoral Court is set to hear arguments from the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) and the Landless People's Movement (LPM) on Friday.

McHenry Venaani, President of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), has called on young Namibians to vote for his party, emphasizing the power they hold in shaping the country's future.

The Landless People's Movement (LPM) has announced that its parliamentary list will feature 72% youth representation.

This decision, according to the party's leadership, was made at their first national convention to elevate young voices in Namibian politics.

The Landless People's Movement party leader, Bernardus Swartbooi, delivered a youth-centered statement this morning as he opened the party's Electoral Convention in Windhoek.

The Swapo Party in Zambezi Region has elected Prisca Makabi and Progress Sipapela as candidates to represent the region at the electoral college.

Makabi, a member of the regional executive committee, scored 45 votes, and Sipapela, the district executive member of Linyanti district, got 37 votes.

Swapo Party Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said the party seeks to renew its mandate with the Namibian people come November 27.

Nandi-Ndaitwah said the party's main aim even before independence has always been to liberate Namibians politically and economically. 

The position of Deputy Leader of the Landless People's Movement (LPM) remains vacant following the resignation of Henny Seibeb last month.
