Family members and the community of Walvis Bay are still looking for answers in the murder of 24-year-old NUST student Matheus Sheehama.

They have appealed to anyone with information to come forward and help the police in their investigation.

Community activist Lukas Shipwe read a letter from Sheehama’s mother when the group went to see the Tutaleni Police Station Commander.

Senior Inspector Hilma Uugwanga told the group that the investigators are having sleepless nights trying to crack the case.

It is alleged that Sheehama was attacked and killed at a braai, and his body was dumped at sea a few days later.

Seven suspects, who will make another court appearance on Tuesday, were arrested in August in connection with the murder.

Sheehama’s girlfriend, Jessica !Gaes and her brother Jimmy !Gaeb are among the suspects.
