The Development Bank of Namibia and the One Economy Foundation have signed an agreement to drive sustainable economic growth, youth empowerment, and community development.

The partnership will, amongst others, formalise a strategic framework of cooperation that covers a wide range of issues, emphasising mentorship, capacity building, and enterprise development amongst youth in the country.

As part of the agreement, DBN will offer coaching, training, and internship opportunities to members of the #BeFree Youth Campus.

It will also offer such services to participants of programmes under the One Economy Foundation, focusing on advancing youth and women and micro, small, and medium enterprise development.

DBN will also give support by utilising its facilities for annual community outreach initiatives.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Development Bank of Namibia, John Steytler, stated that they are confident about the collaboration in addressing socio-economic challenges.
