A twenty-year-old Namibian man who is accused of murdering a security guard at Rundu's Galaxy Mall on Monday was denied bail in the Rundu Magistrate's Court. 

It is alleged that the suspect, Andreas Kapupa, was found eating near the complex' toilet when the security guard, Sivamba Muyambo, advised him to find a suitable place elsewhere.

The suspect allegedly took out an Okapi knife and fatally stabbed Muyambo in the neck.

He is said to have fled the scene but handed himself to police later.

The 29-year-old Muyambo died upon arrival at Rundu Hospital.

Kapupa's case was postponed until the 6th of March next year.
