The Namibia Green Hydrogen programme says the plan is to create jobs that are sustainable and diverse within the renewable energy industry.

Job creation and other benefits that Namibia stands to accrue from its renewable energy industry were underscored during an economic outlook session of the Green Hydrogen programme.

The session, among others, assessed the socio-economic benefits of the green hydrogen industry in the empowerment of youth and small and medium enterprises.

Joseph Mukendwa, the head of policy planning and strategy at the Namibia Green Hydrogen programme, discussed the green hydrogen outlook.
