The Body of Christ's (BCP) President, Festus Thomas, has called on all Christians and Namibians to vote for the party, which he said will create a people-centred government capable of addressing their needs.
The party was launched last year with its membership targeting Christians of all denominations and striving to take the voice of Christians to the National Assembly.
Thomas spoke at a party rally held at Omuthiya, arguing that the incumbent government has not achieved much over the past three decades.
He expressed concern over the trend of corruption, mismanagement of state resources, and inefficiencies he claimed are rife in service delivery.
If elected into power, Thomas likened himself to Moses, the biblical figure who delivered his people to a promised land of prosperity, through effective service delivery, job creation, and improved healthcare service.
"Now is the time for you to elect a leader of integrity who will have your best interest at heart, leaders who are committed to rooting out corruption and dishonesty at all levels of government, keeping your community safe, bolstering the economy, and upholding your rights and freedoms. By electing BCP to the national power, you are entrusting honest, caring, and decisive leaders to effectively deliver services that are affordable."
He called on Namibians to ensure that, for the good of the nation, the BCP is represented in the National Assembly.
"A party with a strong biblical foundation, the BCP seeks to honour God first and put you and your needs at the centre of our policies. We are determined to address critical issues without fear or favour and are here to serve you and help you fully realise the Namibia you deserve."
He promised a Namibia ripe with opportunities for all.
