The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) President McHenry Venaaani has promised to tackle the high rate of unemployment in the country, stating that the party will ensure change and better governance.

Venaani said this at the final rally of the party at the Youth Centre in Windhoek.

He reiterated that poor sanitation, lack of jobs, and poor healthcare are major issues standing out like sore thumbs in the country, as he promises to bring economic and social development.

The PDM leader said the party will ensure equal job opportunities, universal healthcare, as well as proper housing for Namibian citizens and civil servants.

The opposition leader added that they will add value to natural resources, which will increase job opportunities as well as benefit the economy of the country as a whole.

Venaani also said that they will ensure that 10% of the GDP is invested in agriculture to increase food security as well as increase job opportunities.

He urges members of the public, especially the youth, to go out in numbers and vote if they want change and a better future for all Namibians.
