NamPol will deploy 182 officers in the Hardap Region to ensure security and maintain order during the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Hardap Regional Commander, Commissioner Sydney Philander, has confirmed his team's readiness to uphold peace before, during, and after the polls.
Commissioner Philander reminded the public that wearing political party attire on polling day is prohibited and emphasised that no political activities are allowed within 500 meters of polling stations.
He said all senior officers will visit all the polling stations in the region.
"We had some challenges prior to our preparations for the elections, but this has been addressed because it was mainly transport. The Hardap region has received six new vehicles from the office of the inspector general, which are coming in very handy, and they are already deployed to the regions that were affected."
Commissioner Philander praised the public for their tolerance and good conduct during the general voter registration and the campaign period, noting their optimism for the upcoming elections.
He encouraged voters to sustain this positive energy on November 27.
