The Swapo Party Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, has called on its members to work and deliver on the promises made in their manifesto.
She made the remarks at the Swapo Party manifesto retreat workshop in Windhoek.
To deliver on the promises made in its manifesto, the Swapo Party Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, highlighted that she is not ready to work with people who do not have the nation's interests at heart.
She stressed that she is not interested in theories, arguments, or academic debates but wants those who are bringing forth implementable ideas to help deliver services to the Namibian people.
This is the reason this workshop is being held: to scrutinize and find the best ways they can deliver on the commitments highlighted in their election manifesto.
Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah further emphasized that those who will be taking up office come the 21st of March 2025 are encouraged to work with a common purpose to meet the expectations of the people.
She further stated that leadership is described as a privilege, not a right; thus, office bearers are encouraged to work hard and deliver quality services to the nation.
