Poor workmanship is said to have caused extensive damage to the properties of some tenants at the Etango Shopping complex at Oshakati in the Oshana Region following heavy rainfall received on Saturday.

A tenant at Shop number 11 and 13, David Kapunda, who has been renting at the complex owned by well-known Chinese businesswoman Stina Wu for two years, was disappointed to find his textile products and other items soaked in water, estimating the damage at more than N$100,000.

He suffered a heavy blow, and he is pleading with Stina Wu to come to their rescue and compensate them.

The items sold at his shops are imported from South Africa, Mozambique, and China.
