"I wish to take a moment to select the journey we have traversed together in 2024. It is clear that the 'Year of Expectations' has presented undeniable challenges for both the region and our nation as a whole, including the profound loss of our beloved third President, the late Dr. Hage G. Geingob. His remarkable leadership and visionary spirit have left indelible marks in our hearts and minds. As we move forward, let us carry his legacy with us, drawing inspiration from his unwavering commitment to our collective future."

The governor furthermore condemned what she termed as misleading narratives that suggest a lack of development in the ||Kharas Region over the past ten years.
"Such assertions are not only unfair but also serve to discredit the government, its organs, and its dedicated and hard-working public officials, who strive tirelessly for our community's development."
Frederick commended Namibians for their peaceful conduct during the recent general elections while encouraging them to rally behind President-elect Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
In the wake of the tragic gang violence that overshadowed Keetmanshoop during the festive season, claiming the lives of young men, Governor Frederick expressed condolences to the families.
