Trustco Group Holdings is paying respect to one of its employees who died on Saturday after he allegedly shot himself in the head during a diamond heist at NAMDIA.

The company will be flying its company-logo-bearing flag at half-mast; globally, this usually is a mark of respect for a person who has died.

A local daily quoted Trustco spokesperson Neville Basson saying, “It is tradition with the group to fly our Trustco flags at half-mast on the death of any staff member for a five-day period.”

Earlier on Monday, Basson described Max Endjala as someone who was highly regarded for his dedication and contributions to the company.
