Children of the Liberation Struggle, formerly known as the Struggle Kids, residing at Brakwaters Camp Ndilimani, have expressed feelings of hopelessness following the death of Sam Nujoma, whom they describe as their father.

38-year-old Saima Mbinda said she lost hope when she heard the sad news.

Mbinda described Sam Nujoma's death as a big loss not only to the Namibian nation but to Africa as a whole.

She stated that they have been living at the Ndilimani camp for almost ten years now after being brought there under the directive of President Nangolo Mbumba in 2015.

They fear with the Founding President now gone, their plea to fight unemployment will fall on deaf ears.

Another Ndilimani Camp resident Ester Nghikefelwa lauded late Nujoma for recognising them and supporting the body that represents them - NEKA.
