
The Namibia Institute of Pathology's (NIP) CEO, Kapenda Tjombonde, has emphasised the institution's progress in advancing laboratory medicine and enhancing its preparedness for universal health coverage as a provider of lab services.
She highlighted efforts to improve services, including the replacement of ageing instruments, research initiatives and the development of inclusive pathology training systems in collaboration with NUST and UNAM, all aimed at ensuring timely results.
Tjombonde made these remarks during the three-day NAMLS2025 scientific congress.
