
The Ncaute community in the Ncuncuni Constituency of Kavango West Region has gathered in the heart of the village to celebrate the country’s 35th independence, albeit belatedly.
Residents of all ages are joining in the festivities to sing, dance, and enjoy themselves.
Councillor Fillipus Tenga of the Nkurenkuru Constituency is delivering the keynote address on behalf of Governor Verna Sinimbo.
Other constituencies also celebrating Namibia's independence today include Mpungu in Kavango West and Rundu Rural in Kavango East Region.
