Over 350 students graduated from the Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) and received certificates, diplomas, degrees, and postgraduate diplomas in the fields of welding, plumbing, office administration, entrepreneurship, and early childhood development.

As the graduates' embark on the world of work, the Chief Executive Officer of NAMCOL, Ngepathimo Kadhila, urged the graduates to put to use the skills gained.

Dr. Kadhila says that the college continues to deliver quality education, shape visionary leaders and empower its graduates for the world market.

"I envision the Namibian College of Open Learning evolving into an educational hub renowned not only for academic and vocational excellence but also for nurturing globally competitive citizens and dynamic individuals equipped to thrive locally and internationally."

The Minister of Education, Sanet Steenkamp, emphasised that NAMCOL is not the last choice but the first choice that continues to change lives.

"NAMCOL's commitment to good governance and institutional excellence reinforces the pillar of effective governance, ensuring that education continues to serve as a transformative tool for prosperity and inclusion. As a ministry, we cannot overemphasise NAMCOL's value to Namibia's development. Graduates are not statistics; they are outcomes of a functioning educational system."

This year alone the college enrolled over 31,000 students.
