A new platform designed to empower young women to drive social change has officially launched in the capital.

The Miss Eenghoshi Beauty Pageant aims to foster a supportive community where women are encouraged to lead social impact projects, backed by a diverse network of professionals.

At the launch, Patric Sikiliza shared with nbc News that Eenghoshi is more than just a club; it is a collaborative movement that equips young women with the tools, resources, and emotional support necessary to bring their community-focused visions to fruition.

"At its core, Eenghoshi empowers women passionate about addressing social issues. When a member identifies a cause they care about, the entire club rallies behind her to help execute that mission. It's about teamwork, encouragement, and mutual support," Sikiliza explained.

The platform operates on a unique 70/30 model, dedicating 70% of its efforts to administration, charitable activities, and community outreach, while 30% focuses on motorcycle riding.

Sikiliza elaborated that riding serves as a tool for both team building and social commentary.

"We use writing not only to express ourselves but also to document our work and uplift one another. It's about telling our stories and reshaping narratives—especially those that exclude Black women from creative and leadership spaces."

The Eenghoshi Riders Club comprises members from various professional backgrounds who combine their knowledge and skills to support each other and the broader community.

While the initiative emphasizes women's empowerment, it also fosters a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among all members.
