President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed her admiration for the government representatives working tirelessly to support those displaced by the floods.

She noted that swift action had been taken to ensure that affected Namibians received essential assistance, including food aid, medical care, and shelter.

Nandi-Ndaitwah made these remarks during her visit to the Etunda Relocation Center in the Omusati Region, which is currently housing 484 individuals from the Onesi and Ruacana constituencies.

During her visit, the President also brought gifts for the residents, including clothing, blankets, and food.

She plans to continue her visit to the Oshana and Ohangwena regions.
