High Court Deputy Judge President Hanelie Prinsloo on Friday administered the oath of office to Gerson |Narib and Makapa Simasiku, formally appointing them as acting judges of the High Court.

Advocate |Narib, a seasoned prosecutor, served for many years in the Office of the Prosecutor General before he established his private law firm, while Simasiku previously led the Oshakati Magistrates’ Division.

Deputy Judge Prinsloo said that their appointments are expected to strengthen the judiciary’s capacity in handling a growing caseload.
