Members of Parliament in the National Assembly have welcomed the N$7 billion allocation to the Social Grants Management program, calling it a much-needed boost for the country's most vulnerable citizens.

However, some MPs urged the government to enhance public health services to match the quality of private healthcare.

As part of the Finance Ministry's budget of over N$14 billion for the 2025-26 fiscal year, Members of Parliament argued that such improvements would lead to a healthier nation and a better return on investment for government revenue.

Meanwhile, others praised NamRa for its effective tax collection and timely payouts during the last fiscal year.
