Friends, fans, and family welcomed Miss World Namibia, Selma Kamanya, from the 72nd Miss World event held in Hyderabad, India.

In only three weeks, Kamanya joined the ranks of Africa’s top models when she was chosen as the second runner-up on the continent and reached the top eight globally at the 72nd Miss World pageant.

With excitement, Kamanya described her journey as a valuable learning experience. She hopes to apply what she learned now that she is back home.

Miss Thailand, Suchata Chuangsri, won the prestigious title, which attracted the participation of 107 other hopefuls.

The first runner-up was Miss Ethiopia, while Miss Poland earned the second runner-up title, and Miss Martinique placed fourth.
