First Gentleman Epaphras Ndaitwah has called into question the concept of "caring Namibian men" in light of recent violent attacks and killings, which he believes are predominantly perpetrated by men.
While speaking at a photo exhibition titled "The Caring Namibian Man – A Retrospective", organised by the Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO), Ndaitwah posed the question of whether such violence can truly emanate from men regarded as caring.
He highlighted potential contributing factors, such as the way boys are raised, their experiences during childhood, and societal influences. He emphasised that these are critical questions that must be addressed to support the boy child effectively.
Ndaitwah committed to prioritising issues that affect the boy child during his time in office.
