Tilla Feeding Scheme has extended a helping hand to vulnerable families by donating over 200 food packs and 250 blankets to children in the Tobias Hainyeko Constituency in the |Khomas Region.

The initiative forms part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to support communities in need, especially during the cold winter season.

Driven by her love for children, Tilla Isaacs, the founder of the feeding scheme, started feeding and assisting the elderly in Okahandja Park years ago, and she has now included children.

Isaac's dream has always been to make a difference in communities by ensuring that no child goes to bed hungry.

She fulfilled most of their basic needs with the assistance of various donors.

"These are very close to my heart, and I do this net for the kids because I see the need here in the rural areas, and that's why I do it for the kids. And every time when I do it, it's like something comes up in my heart that I see how many people are suffering here in Namibia. And I think that I will do more, but I can't. So that's what I do now, what I'm doing now. I think I go out of my way to get something for the kids here. Younger people – the youngest generation – are doing the same, getting up and seeing what the need is here in this area."
