Vice President Lucia Witboo has paid tribute to liberation struggle icon Jonathan Goliath. 

Late Goliath died at the age of 83 after an illness a week ago in Keetmanshoop. 

"He was a stalwart of the liberation struggle, standing firm until his last day to support and mobilise the masses for the party, even at his advanced age. And as a party and government, we appreciate and honour him for what he did."
