The National Democratic Party (NDP) has launched what it terms the NDP Guerrilla War strategic campaign ahead of the November Regional Councils and Local Authorities elections. 

The party has also announced the eight people who will be leading the six-month campaign.

These are Mwilima David Mwilima, who is the Deputy President for Operations; Vincent Kalikahwi, the National Treasurer; Dasken Matuka, the National Director for Planning and Logistics; Sario Sambandala, the Deputy National Chairperson; Mukendwa Simasiku; Zita Ndopu, the Deputy President for Administration and Advertisement; Alex Linyando, the National Secretary General; and Alfea Siboli, the National Administrator.

Martin Lukato Lukato urged all the members to rally behind the party during the upcoming elections. He further highlighted the parties' commitment to fighting against corruption in all 14 regions, emphasising that the new members stand as a testament that the party is the only hope for the country's future.
