Miss Teen International Namibia, Elaine Engelbrecht, has been preparing for the competition scheduled for Sunday since her arrival in Jaipur, India.

Engelbrecht shared insights into her daily schedule.

"It has been amazing, with months and months of training, to make up various classes and also speech classes, and I have tried my best to prepare in the best way possible to represent my beautiful Namibia. Since I have arrived, I have made so many friends, a thing that I think would never have happened, and something I am grateful for is now I can say I have friends from all over the world, from 23 different countries, and the competition is hectic. Yesterday I slept at 4 in the morning, but I am so excited to represent Namibia tomorrow, where I will show the national costume and also a few other items.”

Engelbrecht is accompanied by her mother, Rosfrieda, and Miss Namibia Organisation CEO Umbi Karuaihe-Upi, who expressed their gratitude for the support the country's' beauty queen received.

NBC Communications Manager Beaulah Boois-Beukes also highlighted Engelbrecht's growth, noting the significance of this international exposure for both her personal development and the country.

“With all the support we have been receiving, we can only say thank you.”

As the competition approaches, Engelbrecht's schedule remains packed with rehearsals, interviews, and public appearances, leaving little time for rest.

Despite the challenges, she remains focused on her goal of showcasing Namibian talent on the global stage, reflecting the dedication and hard work behind the glitz and glamour of pageantry.
