Pensioners who gathered at the Otjomuise Community Hall have expressed frustration over delayed pension payments by Epupa.
Those who spoke to the NBC News team today said an announcement was made last week on the radio, stating that their pensions would be paid on Monday, 1 September.
However, they say they have not received any payment since Monday.
Among the complaints raised by the disgruntled group was the inconvenience this has caused in their lives over the past three days, with some saying they no longer have money for taxi fare or food.

Some also expressed hope that with Nampost taking over the social grant payment process, these kinds of delays will be eliminated.
Others said it will be safer through Nampost, as it will reduce the risk of being robbed.

In response, a representative from Epupa said there is no delay in payments, as processing happens between the 1st and 6th of every month, and payments can be made on any day during that period.
Shalli Ben-Elungu stated they have not made any announcements regarding payments yet and assured that once payments have been processed, recipients will be informed through communication channels, such as NBC radio stations.
