The Editors Forum of Namibia's Chairperson, Toivo Ndjebela, has emphasised the importance of accountability and inclusive engagement within the media sector.
He highlighted the long-standing challenge of handling complaints involving media entities that are not part of the EFN.
Ndjebela described this situation as dangerous and not correct, stressing that all media-related issues must be addressed with accountability, regardless of an outlet’s affiliation with the Forum.
Ndjebela was speaking during the training of Media Complaints Committee panellists, which focuses on foundational principles, media ethics, self-regulation and labour matters.
