The Pupkewitz Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Social Services, officially handed over a rehabilitated ambulance.

Pupkewitz Foundation CEO Meryl Barry reaffirmed the foundation's commitment to support initiatives that make a tangible difference in the community.

"The Pupkewitz Foundation, together with Pupkewitz Toyota, serviced and repaired 16 ambulances at a total cost of N$ 600,000. In 2023, three ambulances from the Oshana Region were basically standing or restored to operational status. This year, an additional five ambulances from the Oshana Region and eight from the Khomas Region underwent servicing and repairs."

The Deputy Executive Director of the Ministry of Health and Social Services said, "On behalf of the Ministry of Health and Social Services, I wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the Pupkewitz Foundation for their generous donation toward the repair of public ambulances, that we are viewing some today, and that you have been doing that for the past year to the total of more than N$400 000 just for this financial year."

The Foundation's collaboration with the ministry aims to strengthen health care mobility and ensure that emergency services remain responsive and reliable across Namibia.
