Epukiro Secondary School in the Omaheke Region has recorded an impressive academic achievement after securing fourth place nationally in the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) Level results.
The school principal, Sagarias Uanivi, expressed joy and pride in the learners, describing the results as a major accomplishment.
Uanivi further called on schools across the region to continue working together to keep Omaheke competitive at the national level.
He highlighted that collaboration, commitment, and consistency are key to sustaining good academic results.
While celebrating the success, Uanivi appealed to the Omaheke Regional Education Directorate to come up with a plan to improve the school's condition.
He noted that the well-performing learners should not be sent to other regions but should remain in Omaheke.
Parents and learners at the school also expressed excitement and pride over the achievement, describing the results as a motivation to aim even higher.
The principal called on the directorate to appoint HODs, saying this would greatly enhance teaching quality.
