The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform, Inge Zaamwani, stated that other towns should also benefit from the seasonal opportunities generated by this year's annual Lüderitz Crayfish Festival.

Zaamwani made the remarks during a gala dinner of the Lüderitz Crayfish Festival.

The gala dinner, which was held ahead of the festival next month, raised over N$700,000.

||Kharas Governor Dawid Gertze commended the Lüderitz Crayfish Festival Board of Trustees for their unwavering commitment to ensuring the festival's success each year. 

The patron of the Lüderitz Crayfish Festival Trust, Sidney Martin, emphasised that a strong collaboration among the festival board, the Lüderitz Town Council, and corporate partners is essential for ensuring the success of this year's festival.

The festival will take place from the 28th of April to the 3rd of May.
