The NamPort Social Investment Fund has donated two ambulances to the Ministry of Health and Social Services in a move aimed at strengthening emergency healthcare services across Namibia.

The fund's chairperson Amos Shiyuka said the donation reflects its commitment to support national development through strategic social investment and improve access to essential healthcare services.

Delivering the keynote address, Health and Social Services Minister Dr Esperance Luvindao commended NamPort for setting an example of meaningful corporate social investment.

She urged other public and private enterprises to follow NamPort's example, saying the health of Namibians is a shared responsibility that requires collective action.

The handover ceremony took place at the Ministry of Health and Social Services in Windhoek.
