The Miss Namibia Organisation hosted a prize-giving ceremony today for the reigning beauties and their runners-up.
Miss Namibia 2026, Charene Labuschagne, has received a Toyota Starlet Cross from Pupkewitz Totota worth N$300 000 and a house from the National Housing Enterprise worth N$850 000.
She was also awarded N$150 000 in cash by Debmarine Namibia.
Lewis sponsored furniture worth N$150 000, while a full-year scholarship study valued at N$150 000 was also accorded to her by International College Lingua..
Labuschane also received an N$120 000 wellness package, professional photography services, livestock, fuel worth N$24 000, and a monthly N$3 000 cash allowance from NBC.
Miss Teen Namibia, Jessica Kurth, also received N$50 000 from NBC, a N$120 000 wellness package, laptops worth N$25 000 for her and her runners-up, livestock and other prizes.
Pupkewitz Toyota Motors's Franchise Director, Ettiene Steenkamp, explained the choice of the car accorded to the new Miss Namibia.
Ettiene Steenkamp, Franchise Director of Pupkewitz Namibia, said, "Our Starlet Cross is the vehicle of choice for Miss Namibia and indeed a very fitting one for a young, talented young lady."
Stella Ipinge, Communications Manager at Debmarine, explains the importance of both Miss Namibia and Miss Teen pageants.
"We've also witnessed the positive economic value that this event brings. From the designers, the stylists, the stage set-ups, the transport operators, the accommodation owners, the makeup artists, you name it."
The Acting Chief of News and Programming, Peter Denk, delivered a speech on behalf of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation's Director-General, Menesia Muinjo.
"A crown is not simply an achievement. It's an invitation to embrace a much bigger journey defined by responsibility, growth, service and purposeful leadership."
Labuschagne expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors for their vital support on behalf of all the other winners.
"Our sincerest, sincerest gratitude, not just for the prizes that have been announced here, but for every single piece of the puzzle that comes together to make Miss Namibia and Miss Teen possible, year after year."
