Zambia's cholera cases have risen to 966, with 25 deaths recorded since the outbreak was recently declared.
The Africa Center for Disease Control is partnering with the Zambian government in mitigating the epidemic.
According to the update posted by the Zambia National Public Health Institute on Thursday, 43 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
46 patients remain admitted in hospital, while a cumulative number of 895 have recovered and been discharged from health facilities.
Zambia's capital, Lusaka, is leading with 503 cases, while its neighbouring towns of Chibombo and Chongwe are second and third with 226 and 46, respectively.
Only five of Zambia's ten provinces are affected, and none of the provinces neighbouring countries are affected with this waterborne disease so far.
Earlier in the week, a team from the Africa Center for Disease Control arrived in the country to join forces fighting this deadly outbreak.
