The nbc/multichoice Mukorob project, which is in the process of producing thirteen Namibian stories, brought in a script expert from South Africa to fine-tune their stories.

The art of filmmaking has many phases before delivering a final product that the audience can enjoy.

One of the most important aspects is a well-developed script with an incredible storyline.

Neil McCarthy, a screenwriter, story consultant, and writing mentor, has worked as a head writer on popular South African TV series such as Isidingo and Rhythm City.

McCarthy had a weeklong engagement with the scriptwriters and producers of the Mukorob project. "A television story has a very strong structural element. By that, I mean, it's like you will never build a house without having a plan. You need an architect who designs that plan, comes up with the plan, and works out all the different elements and components. That is the same with scriptwriting."

McCarthy also touched on the uniqueness of each story that he has been working on. Namibians, he adds, should brace themselves for their own incredible stories.

The first three films will enter production by the end of November.
