About 50 "Children of the Liberation Struggle" protested in front of the Parliament building, demanding an audience with Prime Minister Saraa Kuugongelwa-Amadhila.
The group claimed not to have received feedback on the petition they handed to the Prime Minister's Office last month.
The group claims that they were promised jobs, and benefits from the War Veteran's grant and fish quotas.
However, they say that these promises were never fulfilled.
The group dispersed after a meeting with officials in the Office of the Prime Minister.
Ndamona Julius, the group spokesperson, said they were informed that Kuugongelwa-Amadhila is out of town and will convene a meeting to provide responses to their petition once she returns to the capital.
They also distanced themselves from the activities of the Namibia Exile Kids Association, which they accused of exploiting their cause for self-gain.
