Acting Executive Director in the Office of the Prime Minister, Erastus Amutenya, says no promises of access to fishing rights, jobs, or grants for war veterans were pledged to the "Children of the Liberation Struggle".

About 50 "Children of the Liberation Struggle" protested in front of the Parliament building, demanding an audience with Prime Minister Saraa Kuugongelwa-Amadhila.

The group claimed not to have received feedback on the petition they handed to the Prime Minister's Office last month.
