The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) and CNBC Africa signed a memorandum of understanding in Sandton, South Africa. 

The MoU was signed by nbc Director-General Stanley Similo and Afric Business News (ABN) Managing Editor Roberta Naicker, who described the agreement as a new era of official partnership between the two media institutions. 

ABN is the company that manages the CNBC Africa channel on DSTV, which is broadcast across Africa. 

The areas of cooperation include capacity development, technology, content sharing and distribution, benchmarking, co-productions, and special event coverage, including live cross-overs, among others.

nbc Board Member Mona Jacobs witnessed the signing ceremony together with the Chief of News and Programming, Menesia Muinjo.

The ceremony was preceded by a knowledge- and experience-sharing meeting between the production leadership of the two institutions
