A new era has begun for Miss Namibia. The organisation has officially transitioned into a new phase of leadership, welcoming Beaulah Boois-Beukes as its new National Director.

The Director General of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation today officially sent off the corporation's teams ahead of the Public Enterprise Games, which will take place in Rundu from 2 to 4 July.

Financial journalism can no longer be treated as a specialised field but must become a key tool for helping citizens understand and participate in Namibia's economic development.

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has recognised Namibia Public Workers Union (NAPWU) as the exclusive bargaining agent for the employees. 
The announcement was made by the Director General, Menesia Muinjo, at a meeting between the two parties in Windhoek. 

State-owned enterprises have been urged to strengthen collaboration with the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation.

The aim, its Director General Menesia Muinjo says, is to improve service delivery, enhance public communication, and expand national coverage through shared infrastructure and programming.

NBC Director General Menesia Muinjo has highlighted the need for more business-related content on the broadcaster's platforms. 

Muinjo made the remarks during a visit by the Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa Financial Journalism Training Program.
