The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) reaches over 1.6 million people through its television, radio, and online services, with its main aim being to create high-quality content.

This was said by the Chief News and Programming Officer of the nbc, Menesia Muinjo, as the corporation bid farewell to three of its structural pillars, who are headed for retirement.

The three retirees—Lutz Von Dewit, Petronella-Aina Shipanga, and Anna ||Kaoseb—have worked for the corporation for over 35 years.

Sharing their sentiments were the retirees' managers, who noted significant growth in the three's professional development over their time at the corporation and in creating relationships with their audience.

||Kaoseb was overwhelmed by the gesture, while Von Dewit said that his role as a technical engineer was his passion, despite all the challenges of the job.

Muinjo highlighted the importance of teamwork and its impact on the growth of the corporation.
