Delegates at the 7th Swapo Party Elective Congress started arriving today from all 14 regions. 

Preparations for the congress were slowly but surely gaining momentum at the Safari Hotel in Windhoek.

It was a relaxed and moving atmosphere as delegates wasted no time registering and getting accredited upon arrival at the venue.

This process is anticipated to take place till tomorrow before the official opening of the congress.

About 795 delegates from 121 constituencies are expected to grace the event.

As those in attendance were settling in, some members of the party were seen selling branded attires and materials, an initiative that creates a sense of representation and unity for all in attendance and their dressing codes.

The venue appeared to be set and ready as more delegates pitch up
