OUTsurance Namibia and lawyer Sisa Namandje have failed to reach an agreement in an ongoing legal dispute.

Namandje, on behalf of his client Elmarie Thompson, dragged OUTsurance Namibia to court in a civil suit for over N$760 000.

Namandje is suing the insurance giant following its alleged refusal to pay out an insurance claim to his client.

Thompson alleges property loss after her Ongwediva estate was burglarized in April this year.

OUTsurance Namibia says that Elmarie Thompson initially claimed that she did not know the original date of damage to her property and also submitted that the damage was caused by a tenant or occupant.
