Employees of the CIS Security Services handed over a petition to the regional office of the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations, and Employment Creation at Katima Mulililo over pending salaries for September, October, and November.
Workers claim that they have worked for those three months without receiving compensation.
They were told that payment was delayed due to uncertified invoices, hence payment could not be processed.
Speaking to nbc News Ignatius Chunga says the company promised to pay out the salaries for September and October on the 15th of January next year.
Chunga added that N$40,000 will be available every month to pay off all the areas.
The company agreed to pay the salaries for November as of Monday, December 19, to all employees.
Labor inspector, Hilaria Intunga, received the petition at the regional MLIREC's offices.
CIS stressed that they have not deserted the workers, and once payment is done, there will be a meeting with the workers to discuss whether they still want to remain in their roles or not.
